UnheardHits operates this music website. The operator can be contacted through the UnheardHits website administrator.

Listening and visitor statistics

Listening does not require an account. The site records page views and song plays to understand its audience. Visitor reports use a daily-changing hash derived from an IP address; raw IP addresses and cities are not retained. Reports show approximate countries. Listening events use anonymous hashed browser identifiers. These reports are restricted to administrators. The hosting provider processes network and request information to deliver and secure the website.

Accounts

If you create an account, we store your email, display name, hashed password and hashed recovery code. Administrators can view account names and email addresses. A secure essential cookie keeps an account signed in for up to 30 days. You can delete your account from the account menu.

Paid downloads

Where offered, payments are processed by Stripe. Payment card details are entered on Stripe’s checkout and are not stored on this website. We retain the song, price, currency, transaction references, payment status and download count to deliver and administer the purchase. A secure browser cookie identifies your purchase; only its hash is stored with the order. Keep the same browser to access purchases for 7 days after payment, up to 10 downloads. The purchase cookie can last up to one year; clearing it removes browser access to the purchase.

Advertising and your choices

When enabled, Google AdSense serves display ads. Google and its advertising partners may use cookies, IP addresses, device information and browsing data to deliver ads, measure performance and prevent fraud. Where applicable, Google’s consent message lets you consent, decline or manage advertising preferences. Use Privacy and cookie settings on the music page to revisit those choices. Advertising preferences are handled by Google’s consent system. You may also control or delete cookies in your browser; deleting essential cookies signs you out and removes access to browser-linked purchases.

Other services

Fonts and some music artwork may be delivered by external services that receive the information needed to fulfill the request. Music files uploaded to UnheardHits are delivered through our hosting provider.

Privacy requests

Contact the operator to request access to, correction or deletion of your personal information. Purchase records may need to be retained for accounting, disputes and other applicable obligations. We update this policy when the service changes.
